1. What the site is

Autopapyrus publishes car repair guides, explainers on how cars work, articles and a catalog of repair manuals sold by other companies. Everything on the site is general information. It does not replace professional advice, the manufacturer’s service documentation or a qualified mechanic.

2. How the guides are made

The guides are compiled from service literature and owners’ experience with the help of automated tools, including artificial intelligence. We work to keep them accurate, but they may contain errors or omissions, and specifications, torque values, fluid types and procedures differ between model years, engines and trims. Before you start, check every step and specification against the documentation for your exact vehicle.

3. Safety and your own risk

You use any guide at your own risk. Work on a vehicle only if you have the skills, tools and protective equipment the job requires. Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Take particular care with fuel, brakes, steering, airbags, high-voltage systems of hybrid and electric vehicles and hot or pressurised components. If you are unsure, stop and ask a professional. Work on brakes, steering, suspension and other safety-critical systems should be checked by a qualified mechanic before you drive.

4. No warranty

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that the content is accurate, complete, up to date or fit for a particular purpose.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autopapyrus is not liable for any damage to vehicles or property, personal injury, loss of data, profit or use, or any other loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you.

6. Trademarks

Vehicle makes, models and other trademarks are named only to identify the vehicles a guide or manual applies to. They belong to their owners. Autopapyrus is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer or publisher.

7. Books and links to other sites

Repair manuals in our catalog are sold by third parties such as Amazon and Haynes. We do not sell them and are not a party to your purchase: price, delivery, returns and the product itself are the seller’s responsibility. Some links are affiliate links: if you buy after following one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not affect which books we list.

8. Copyright

The texts, illustrations and design of the site belong to Autopapyrus unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share links to pages for personal, non-commercial use. Copying the content in bulk, republishing it or collecting it with automated tools without our written permission is not allowed. Third-party 3D models are used under their licences and credited on the pages where they appear.

If you believe something on the site infringes your rights, write to support@autopapyrus.ru. We will look into it promptly and remove the material if the claim is justified.

9. Guide requests

When you request a guide, you agree that the guide we produce may be published on the site. Do not enter personal information or anything unlawful into the request field. We may limit or refuse requests that look automated or abusive.
