Exeed TXL: Location of the Exterior Mirror Heater Button
The Exeed TXL may not have a separate button for the mirrors. The exterior mirror heater usually turns on together with the rear window defroster, using the button with a rectangular window symbol and wavy arrows. The exact button location depends on the trim level.

Step by step
6 steps- Look for the button in the climate control panel on the center console, below the infotainment screen. The windshield defrost and ventilation mode buttons are also there. On some trim levels, these functions may be moved to the touchscreen, in the climate menu.
- Find the rear window icon: a rectangle with curved, wavy arrows. The mirror icon usually shows a small square with the same arrows. On many Chery Group vehicles, this is a single shared button for the rear window and the exterior mirrors.
- Turn the ignition on or start the engine. Press the button once: the indicator on the button or on the climate screen will light up.
- Check the heater. After 1-2 minutes in freezing weather, or after spraying the glass with water, the mirror glass should feel slightly warm, and frost and condensation should begin to clear. The heater switches off automatically after a few minutes. If needed, press the button again.
- You can start the heated mirrors remotely through the EXEED Connect app (on trim levels with this feature), for example while warming up the car before a trip.
- If the button works and the indicator lights up but the mirrors do not heat, check the rear window and mirror heater fuse in the fuse box. For its location and rating, see the fuse box cover or the vehicle owner's manual. Then check the connector in the door and the mirror heating element itself.
Common mistakes and warnings
- The exact button location and symbol for your trim level and model year are not confirmed in publicly available materials, so only the general principle is shown here
- Check the climate control panel and the vehicle owner's manual
- Do not run the heater on a dry mirror for more than a few minutes, and do not use it if the mirror glass is cracked
- If the heater does not work and the fuse is good, take the vehicle to a repair shop to have the wiring diagnosed
