Step by step

7 steps
  1. Outer diameter: 302-304.6 mm (factory specification is 302 mm, while some manufacturers list 304-304.6 mm).
  2. New rotor thickness: 10-11 mm (factory specification is 10 mm, with an acceptable range of 10-11 mm depending on the production batch).
  3. Minimum allowable thickness at wear: 8-9 mm (critical replacement limit, further use is unsafe).
  4. Rotor height: 60.7-61 mm.
  5. Center bore (hub fit): 64-64.15 mm.
  6. Bolt circle diameter (PCD): 114.3 mm.
  7. Number of mounting holes: 5 (bolt-on wheel mounting).

Common mistakes and warnings

  • Measure the actual rotor thickness with a micrometer at several points around the circumference (on the friction surface, not the edge). If the thickness is below the minimum limit at even one point, the rotor must be replaced, otherwise it may fail during braking.
