Step by step

6 steps
  1. Open the hood and move the wipers to the service position: lift one of them to a vertical position so that it stands perpendicular to the windshield. Alternatively, you can turn on the ignition, switch the wipers on, and switch them off when they are at the top of their travel.
  2. For the driver-side blade (the long one, 650 mm), grip the blade by its plastic holder and pull it down and slightly back to release the hook from the mounting on the wiper arm.
  3. Remove the old blade.
  4. Take the new Mazda BP4K-67-330A blade, align the hook with the socket on the wiper arm, and push it up until the locking tab clicks into place.
  5. Repeat the procedure for the passenger-side blade (400 mm, BP4K-67-330B).
  6. Before finishing, turn on the wipers and check that the blades move smoothly, without jerking or knocking.

Common mistakes and warnings

  • Use only OE or certified blades (Bosch, SWF). No-name blades often do not sit fully against the glass, leave streaks, and fail within 2-3 seasons.
