Step by step

6 steps
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Lift the wiper arms up from their resting position (they will stand upright away from the windshield).
  3. For the driver side blade (65 cm): press the locking tab on the underside of the blade connector, slide the blade sideways off the hook, and pull it out of the arm.
  4. For the passenger side blade (40 cm): remove it the same way.
  5. Insert the new blade. It will snap into the arm with a click.
  6. Lower the wiper arms back to their resting position on the windshield.

Common mistakes and warnings

  • Do not use blades shorter than the original size, as they may leave streaks on the glass. The passenger side blade is noticeably shorter than the driver side blade, so do not mix them up.
