Step by step

6 steps
  1. Open the hood and park the car so that you can easily reach the wiper arms.
  2. Lift both wiper arms up so that they stand perpendicular to the windshield.
  3. For the front left (driver side): - Press the plastic locking tab (clip) on the inner side of the arm, where the blade connects to the adapter. - Slide the old blade down and pull it out of the adapter slot. - Insert the new blade into the adapter until the locking tab clicks.
  4. For the front right (passenger side), repeat the same procedure. This arm is shorter (400 mm versus 650 mm).
  5. Lower both arms back into place. They should settle quietly and lie parallel to the windshield.
  6. Check how the wipers work. Run them a few times and make sure the blades press evenly against the glass.

Common mistakes and warnings

  • Do not mix up the sizes of the left and right blades (650 and 400 mm respectively). During installation, make sure the blade is fully locked into the adapter, because an incorrectly installed blade can come off while driving. If the arms are in the "park" position, lift them slightly before starting work to avoid damage.
